Vintage Series Ride Cymbal: An entirely hand hammered cymbal made in Illinois from imported Turkish Bronze. They feature a fully lathed top and bottom with occasional areas of the raw cymbal surface between lathe grooves and in deep pockets of hammering. With a clean “tah” stick sound and dark complex wash, these individually handmade cymbals are set apart from the sound and feel of other pies readily available.
Byrne Cymbals are hand hammered and hand lathed cymbals made in the USA from imported, raw cymbal blanks. Each piece of unworked bronze is carefully shaped and lathed in a one-man shop just outside the Chicago area. The cymbals are rustic in character and have the sonic complexity of a truly hand hammered cymbal.
