The Cymbal Builder App is a Cymbal Weight Calculator and animated slider & bell selector to be used as an educational tool to provide a few categories for what determines a cymbal’s sound. The Cymbal Weight Calculator provides a weight category read-out when you enter a cymbal’s diameter in inches and weight in grams. The animated slider allows you to change the visual profile with an accompanying sound profile read-out. The page with the bow animation also includes a bell selector with related categorization. While there are far more factors that determine a cymbal’s sound, the app covers a few of the most easily measured.
